Human Resource Management Program

Click here for a list of all UALR core curriculum, College of Business core curriculum, and Management Electives.The Human Resource Management Emphasis in the Management Major and the Human Resource Management Minor prepare students for careers in human resource-related areas including personnel management. The program stresses the importance of integrating individual goals with organizational objectives. Issues and activities covered are the legal environment of employee relations; job analysis and design; employee planning, recruiting and selection; employee training and development; employee productivity improvement, compensation, and other reward systems; union-management relations; and quality of work life.
